This week Allambi Care have been incredibly fortunate to host the Clinical Application For Act of Behaviour Analysts 3 day intensive course run by Dr. Evelyn Gould. Over 70 participants came to our head office to learn from the international guest speak while also being given the opportunity to work on present case examples and engage in case consultation with peers and the trainer.
Evelyn Gould, PhD, BCBA-D, LABA, is a Clinical Behavior Analyst and Research Associate at the Child and Adolescent OCD Institute (OCDI-Jr) at McLean Hospital, Harvard Medical School. The OCDI-Jr provides residential level of care for children and adolescents struggling with treatment refractory OCD and related disorders.
This workshop has been designed to provide practitioners with ‘hands-on’ training in assessment, case conceptualization, treatment planning, implementation, trouble-shooting, and treatment evaluation from an ACT perspective.
Feedback from the course participants identified Evelyn's extensive experience working with children and adolescents with ASD (and their families) across settings, and her variety of clinical, training, and research roles in the USA, UK, and N. Ireland over the years.
