On Friday April 28th we held our first ever Spicy Brain event to celebrate the contribution neurodiversity and disability makes to our community. The goal was to support local creatives and makers by providing an accessible and inclusive space to share their work and be seen. We were genuinely surprised at just how special and talented each performance and exhibit was. It was heart warming, fun, creative and had you feeling nothing but joy about the diverse world we live in. A huge thank you must go to everyone involved particularly the Allambi Care staff and different community organisations and businesses that volunteered their skills and time.
We want to make creative arts and design accessible for everyone and to give our artists the opportunity to share their creativity in ways they feel most confident and proud. We cannot wait for next year!
