We'd like to give a very special shoutout to Melinda from our Training and Development Team. Melinda is a friendly voice and face to our frontline staff. She is a key player in our Diploma students journey from the very start to the very end. She builds a rapport from the very beginning, reassures our learners of their diploma journey throughout, tirelessly chases them to keep them on track, finds the answers to any queries staff may have and her customer service skills are a stand out. She is also an incredible team player.

A recent example of this was having a staff member on Workers Compensation with a bad foot. Melinda had the forethought to book a ground level training room so that this staff member could attend with ease (even though no issue was raised). We had to unexpectedly change the room to an upper level, Melinda again ensured this would have easy access (back ramp) for the staff member to enter the building. Another example is the atmosphere Melinda creates in the training environment. She has a wide range of snacks on offer to cater to all needs – she even ensures there are some healthier options to keep the energy going in the classroom – we are talking a variety of chips, biscuits, crackers and lollies and ensures bottles of water are cold, and provides spares of everything in case someone forgets a charger, or their laptop, or a pen etc. 

Melinda is the type of person that if she doesn’t have the answer she won’t simply just say she doesn’t know, she will seek out an answer for you, and in a timely manner too!
