Our Victorian Operations has had some exciting staff changes over the past couple of months, starting with Meagan Robinson accepting a role as an Intern Psychologist with our team in early 2021. Meagan has been with Allambi Care since joining our team as a youth worker in January 2020 after completing her psychology degree with honours through Deakin University, and she was able to apply her knowledge and gain valuable real-world experience working in trauma-informed care environment.
Meagan is passionate about her professional development and eager for the opportunities that her new journey in psychology with Allambi Care will bring for her. We are excited for the skills and knowledge that Meagan will bring to this role and look forward to support she will offer our staff as they continue to understand young people, build up their skills and create therapeutic ways to achieve positive outcomes. Welcome aboard Meagan!
Another exciting outcome for our Victorian Operations is having three staff members (Meagan, Jessica Hardie and Claude Olivares) attend and successfully complete their Therapeutic Crisis Intervention Trainers courses over the past 5 months. The addition of qualified TCI trainers within our Victorian program has been a huge asset for the team and will continue to play a vital role in the strengthening of therapeutic practice in all our residential units through the ongoing training and development of staff.
