Participants in the term 1 LIT program were supported to complete their first aid certificate on 4th March. LIT program (Linking Inspiring Transforming) is a free program facilitated by Allambi Care in partnership with Lake Macquarie PCYC and relies on local services to share their knowledge by presenting different topics to the group each week. The program is aimed at young people who are disengaged or at risk of disengaging from education or have had interactions with police or court. It runs for eight weeks and aims to provide participants with psychosocial education, increase life skills and information about local services to support young people on their journey to a positive future.
