We were thrilled to recently attend the Westlakes NAIDOC Family Fun Day at Speers Point Park, which was postponed from June due to weather but was well worth the wait! The sun was shining, and the park was buzzing with kids’ rides, food trucks, stalls, live entertainment, and cultural activities.
This year’s NAIDOC theme, Keep the Fire Burning, holds a powerful message of honouring and celebrating the strength, resilience, and rich cultural diversity of Australia’s Indigenous community. Allambi Care proudly participated, offering some creative fun with hand painting and hair spray activities for the kids (and the young at heart!) while engaging with the community.
We’re grateful to be part of this celebration of culture, unity, and diversity. A huge thank you to everyone who came by and helped us celebrate NAIDOC!
