It is with great pleasure that we share that we have just seen the first Guardianship Orders appointed for children with Allambi.
Billy and Liam have been with Allambi since 2010 and have had a lot of people support them over the years. Additionally, a lot of work has gone into getting this guardianship over the line, being the first Allambi has been part of and one of the first presented to CFDU for Aboriginal children with non-Aboriginal carers. Thank you to everyone who has been part of this – there have been many – and all of your work has contributed to this amazing outcome. A special shout out to Mich Hannah, Tyson Kennett and Kayla Rogers, who put in a lot of work completing the assessment and court work to get this outcome.
