Allambi had the privilege of attending the Newcastle Pride Fair Day this month!
It was an amazing day celebrating Newcastle and the Hunter’s diversity, authenticity, and fabulous communities.
We had the opportunity to speak with several community members about who we are as an organisation, what fostering a child, young person or sibling group involves and how they too could become a foster carer within our organisation.
We saw lots of familiar faces with many current foster carers and young people attending the event, we even ran into some past legends who shared their stories of success and achievements since leaving care.
Big shout out to the those who volunteered on the stall or helped with arrangements – you are all amazing!
