Roimata (Roi) has recently joined the TACT team within Allambi Care as a Business Support Officer.
TACT is the external training and consultancy arm of Allambi Care, responsible for delivering evidence-based, trauma- responsive training across Australia and New Zealand. TACT supports frontline workers, carers, educators, leaders and organisation's to improve outcomes for children, young people and vulnerable adults through high-quality practical training and support.
Roi's role is to provide support across various areas of the business, including event coordination, administrative tasks, customer service, compliance, and reporting. Her prior experience and skills are applied daily in her new role at TACT. Roi is enjoying her work saying "What makes working at Allambi truly special for me is being part of more than just an organisation – it’s a community. I love being surrounded by a supportive and inspiring learning and development team, discovering the incredible work happening across all departments, and of course, grabbing my daily coffee from the café!"
Roi also loves a challenge and shared that in times of adversity; she reminds herself- “Today is difficult… Tomorrow is much more difficult… But the day after tomorrow is beautiful. Most people die tomorrow evening.”
For Roi, this serves as a reminder that rewarding or “beautiful” moments don’t always come straight away, but sometimes after many, many difficult tomorrows. That the hardest moments don’t last forever – and that beauty often lies just beyond our hardest days (or even hours).
