Wear It Purple Day on August 29 was a success and everyone who attended had fun and enjoyed the activities and food stalls that were setup around the Lake Macquarie MIMA building. We had two young people volunteer to perform- a talented singer and a very confident poet. Both performances were well received. The Wear It Purple committee and PEI team, set up the venue and interacted with all those who attended. The wonderful fire fighters from Teralba Fire Station came along saying they wouldn’t miss it as did the Local Area Command Police. There were food trucks that sold wood fire baked pizzas, spud on a stick and coffee. Looking forward to bigger and better things next year!
