What an incredible night! A huge thank you to everyone who came along and supported the Allambi Care Trivia Fundraiser. Thanks to your generosity, we raised more than $1,400 in support of Windale Junior Rugby League Football Club.
This grassroots community club has faced some significant challenges recently, including the devastating loss of their clubhouse due to fire. It was fantastic to see our community rally behind such an important cause and show what can be achieved when people come together.
The Great Northern Hotel proved to be the perfect venue for the evening. With its fantastic outdoor space, family-friendly atmosphere, and top-shelf pub meals, it set the scene for a memorable event. A special shout-out goes to the hotel and their partners for their incredible generosity, donating more than $1,000 worth of prizes.
We also have to mention Steve Graham, who truly lived out his trivia host dreams. He kept the energy high as teams tested their knowledge across music, geography, sport, and general trivia.
Twelve teams took part on the night, bringing plenty of creativity (and competition!) with them. Congratulations to Team “Where’s Lisa” for taking out the win.
Most importantly, it was wonderful to see families, colleagues, and friends come together, share plenty of laughs, and support a club that means so much to its community.
