Stay alert - every environment has potential hazards.

Make hazard checks as instinctive as putting on a seatbelt.

Be proactive  
•    Scan your surroundings every time you enter a space.  
•    Identify risks early - inside and outside.  
•    Take action and speak up immediately if something looks unsafe.

Eliminate hazards  
•    Do regular sweep checks of your work area.  
•    Remove and secure objects that could be used as weapons.

Embed a safety-first mindset  
•    Pause before tasks - consider what could go wrong.  
•    Notice changes in environment or client behaviour.  
•    Make safety awareness a routine, automatic habit.

Safety starts with awareness. Small actions prevent big incidents.
