A group of Allambi Staff and foster carers attended the Road Show on 15th & 16th October. The event was well attended and the speaker’s presented insights into strategies for strengthening relationships, ways to build resilience and better support our young people. We would like to thank Letitia, Sarah, Taneisha, Robyn, Karen, Cody & Jade for taking the time out of their busy lives to attend.
If you missed out on completing the survey and want your voice to be counted - go to NSW OOHC Carer Survey 2026 and have your say. The survey is an important way for DCJ to listen, learn from and better understand the experiences of current authorised carers across NSW.
Do you have a copy of the latest Resource Manual? The manual is full of information that you might find valuable or handy when you are unsure of what to do or who to contact. Contact your Case Worker if you would like a copy or, if you would like a digital copy, a QR code will be available by the end of the year to access a digital version.
We recently held training about ADHD in the school setting. If you were unable to make the training, here are the notes that were given to people who attended. A big thank you to Rees Carman from TracksHealth for presenting and Timeka Capizzi for compiling the handout.
