taylorThere was a pretty big life event during the week, a very well-known face and name took the next big step in moving to another placement and provider. For anyone who knows Taylor, you would be completely blown away by their independent, outgoing, and hard-working nature. Taylor has two jobs, Coles and Wests League Club - while playing in a mixed netball team that she independently joined and enjoys playing with each week. Taylor has also enrolled in dance classes with some close friends which she does weekly and admitted something she never would have thought she would do.

Taylor shared she has recently enjoyed watching YouTube videos about hair and makeup and was very proud to declare during the week “look at this, I have made my own friends” before showing a very age-appropriate pic at the Cambridge hotel surrounded by smiles of her closest friends, out celebrating her birthday. Taylor shared that she has reached 24 months of not requiring hospitalisation for a previous diagnosis and is working every day on bettering her life. I can personally say I drove away absolutely bewildered by the adult I had seen. Everyone who knows and has worked with her should be proud and would be extremely impressed by the progression she has made throughout her time at Allambi Care. Good luck and all the very best to you Taylor. You deserve only the best and most wonderful things life has to offer.

Big shout out to Lachlan Fairhall, Skye Lovett and Dane Walters for your ongoing support and care for Taylor.
