Allambi Care NNSW was proud to once again be involved in the 2026 Bangalow Billycart Derby as a sponsor, marking our third year supporting this fantastic community event.
While this year’s derby was a little quieter due to the inclement and unpredictable weather, it was still a great day filled with community spirit, fun, and connection. It was especially nice to see several of our amazing Youth Work staff and Foster Carers there on the day, enjoying the event and supporting the local community, while also helping spread the word about the ongoing need for more Foster Carers across the region.
We also loved providing free face painting for the children on the day, with lines stretching all afternoon, as well as running our popular lolly jar guessing competition, which always creates plenty of excitement and intrigue for the kids.
We’re proud to continue being part of such a well-loved local event and look forward to being involved again in the future.
