Spicy Brain 2025 - a special night created with and for our participants. The event focuses on free entry, disability access and family-friendly activities which is making it a sought after, inclusive space for many. A crowd of 950 attended to support the performers and artists and enjoyed a night that welcomes all abilities and celebrates difference. The audience watched music, dance, dramatic performances and feats of skill performed by Allambi and partner organisations on a full stage and backed up with audiovisual support. The pride and sense of accomplishment from performers, artists and their mentors was evident and a joy to see.
The art and photography exhibitions were curated with biographies and stories that celebrated each creator and included paintings, sculpture and digital media. The photography theme for 2025 was ‘A Day in the Life’ which was embraced by our budding photographers and produced some insightful photographs.
Face painting and coloured hair spray were popular stations in the interactive area. There was a colouring-in station and giant lawn games for the energetic attendees. Local food vendors and community stalls welcomed hungry attendees with inclusive food options and family friendly spaces. The night had a relaxed, festival style atmosphere that was furthered by the many volunteers that gave their time to set up, host and run the event.
