Recently, our Intensive Therapeutic Care (ITC) young people from Northern NSW enjoyed a day out at Movie World. There was an incredible turnout and there were plenty of opportunities to connect, have fun and create positive memories together.
The day highlighted the growth and maturity of the young people involved. For some, it was a chance to reconnect with peers they had previously lived with, and it was great to see them approach those interactions with respect and confidence.
It was also encouraging to see young people participating in an environment that, for some, may have felt challenging in the past. Their willingness to get involved, spend time together and make the most of the experience was a reflection of how far they have come.
A huge thank you to our ITC teams for the planning, preparation and support that made the day possible. These experiences don't happen without the dedication of staff and the efforts of young people themselves.
We’re proud of everyone who played a part in making the day such a success.
