We absolutely love the vibes from our Northern NSW team and their office. The office is such a warm and connected environment which is a testament to all of the hard-working Allambi staff working from Alstonville.
Within the ITC space, the team is very dynamic, they deal with challenging situations everyday and do everything together as a team. You would be hard pressed to find a more connected team that jump at opportunities to help each other with all of the moving pieces, challenges and changes. The placements and the dedicated youth workers who support our placements are always putting their hand up to support and make the houses feel like the kids belong.
The foster care team continue to push for positive outcomes and they keep the kids and their families at the centre of everything and that is what makes them such a cohesive unit. Despite some small changes within their team they are continuing to show up for each other and finding wins throughout their caseloads from family reconnections to amazing education milestones for their YP.
We’d also like to say a big thank you to their staff that put their hand up to be a part of NAIDOC filming and various pieces for recruitment. The stories of connection and why people work for Allambi are amazing and it will be exciting to see some of the filming get released over the coming months. You really are spoilt with beautiful locations all across the Northern Rivers and we appreciate you sharing them with us and for making sure that Allambi’s values are embedded into the region.
