On December 6th, Allambi Care hosted its 2024 Golf Day at Newcastle Golf Club. The event brought together supporting businesses, stakeholders, professional connections, and long-term supporters for a day of fun, connection, and fundraising - all for an incredible cause.
The day began with an early start and breakfast at the clubhouse before teams teed off for 18 rounds of golf. Highlights included three challenge holes, with one including the chance of having to take a shot with a cricket bat (sorry, Tim Reed!). After the spirited competition, participants enjoyed a great lunch, an inspiring presentation from our Outreach Team and the award ceremony.
The Golf Day raised over $12,000 through auctions, raffles, and other fundraising activities. These funds will support youth homelessness initiatives and Allambi’s Tiny Homes Project, which aims to provide sustainable and accessible housing for at-risk youth in the Lake Macquarie area.
